Pasikudah is an east coast beach destination known for its long sandy shoreline and shallow, clear waters. The nearby Kalkudah coast extends the beach area and offers a quieter alternative to some of Sri Lanka’s busier resort areas.

Pasikudah is particularly suited to swimming and relaxed beach days when sea conditions are favourable. The shallow water and broad beach are among the main reasons it is popular with families and leisure travellers.
